The Communities of the Robson and Canoe Valleys.....

Valemount is nestled between the Rocky Mountains, the Monashee Mountains and the Cariboo Mountains, at the foot of Canoe Mountain. Valemount is also home to  Mount Robson which is the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. 1,065 residents enjoy this spectacular mountain country with its natural beauty, quiet soltitude and clean crisp moutnain air. In the winter months enjoy some amazing snowmobiling and heli-skiing. In the summer months take advantage of breathtaking views while hiking, camping and trail riding.

 McBride Is also nestled between the rugged Canadian Rockies and The snowcapped Cariboo Mountains. Since its earliest days McBride has been an active and vibrant centre. Follwing in the footseps of trappers and prospectors came railway construction workers with the construciton of the Grand Trunk Railway. With all the reasons in the word to stay amid the peaks of the Rocky Mountain trench, with its mild climate, good soil, abundance of water and rugged beauty McBride is now home to approximatley 745 people.

In the Robson and Canoe Valleys ECD/CYSN/CYMH initiatives aredeveloped and implemented by the Robson and Canoe Valleys Success by 6 Advisory Committee, in partnership with the Northern Interior Children First Initiative.

School District #57, Northern Health, Robson Valley Support Society, Columbia Basin Alliance for Literacy, Stepping Stones Daycare and more.......
